Microsoft might take me from Google with Mesh - August 18, 2008 by Chris

I was messing the beta version of Microsofts online clould computing program called mesh. I really enjoy this. I no longer see a point fooling around with Windows Live Workspaces anymore (which I didnt like in the first place). The thing I enjoy the most about mesh is that you can synchronize your content with multiple computers all with the click of a button. You can even sync your PDA Windows Mobile phone with it. Since I have a Samung BlackJack II that can really come in handy. Plus I start college today and I think this application will be a great way for me to share my stuff with my friends.

So far though i’m still with Google. I like Google. I use them for everything. Documents, E-mail, Search, photos, Calendar. I use everything except blogger. But I think Google needs to expand on it’s online offering when it comes to syncing. Alot of people dont want to start their documents online. Google Calendar Sync for Outlook is a great start. Oh and sharing documents with others is a breeze and I enjoy it.

Live Mesh looks like the new online generation called cloud computing. It’s very unique and beautiful and super easy to use. I’ll wait and carefully evaluate my decision when it goes live whether or not I want too stick with google or move over to Microsofts side. But if I do go to Microsoft. I switch to all Microsoft services like Live mail, Live Calendar,  Live Mesh, Live Search and others. I’m the type of person who likes to access everything in one place instead of going to other services for every need.
